Summary:

|
The Perris Union High School District currently provides services to approximately 1,750 students with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Although the District offers most services to students, we do not offer all services to students. The District contracts annually with the Riverside County Superintendent of Schools through the Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) for autism, visual impairment services, deaf and hard of hearing services, orthopedic impairment services, intensive behavior intervention services, and services for students with extreme intellectual disabilities. Riverside County also supports us with home/hospital teachers if a need or student requires extensive support. The Riverside County Superintendent of Schools has extensive services for students with these disabilities and continues to do an excellent job of servicing our students.
The term of this Agreement shall be for one (1) year from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024. Based on current projected enrollment and needs, the estimated cost for these services is $582,190.00. The detailed breakdown of these costs is on page six (6) of the attached Agreement.
This Agreement is being brought before the Board as ratification due to the untimely receipt of the contract from the Riverside County Superintendent of Schools. |
