CPT David Sibley, California Military Institute’s teacher, requests approval from the Board of Trustees to attend the HQ Marksmanship at Camp San Luis Obispo.
The California Military Institute (CMI) has eighteen (18) cadets who are part of the California Cadet Corps 10th Corps Headquarters. These cadets are scheduled to attend the monthly Headquarters Cadet Corps (HQCACC) meetings. The Cadet Corps is a school-based, applied leadership program conducted within the military framework and designed to provide maximum growth and leadership opportunities for cadets from elementary through high school levels. During their time there, they will plan for upcoming events. Some events are Xtreme Games, IMA, State Drill Competitions, CERT Training, marksmanship, and First-Aid.
These events will benefit our Cadets by developing their leadership skills, building better relationships with outside agencies, making our Cadets more competitive, and gaining knowledge to keep our Cadets more informed. They will also benefit the Cadet Corps by having input from the California Military Institute, the largest school in the Cadet Corps. |
