Summary:
|
On April 1, 2025, the Perris Union High School District and the Association entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to ensure continuity of operations and protect employees during individual worksite closures. The agreement allows classified staff who used leave in January 2025 due to site closures to revise their timesheets and either change their leave to unpaid status or apply any form of accrued leave, including Compensation Time, Vacation, Personal Leave, or Sick Leave. Moving forward, employees affected by site closures will not lose pay or benefits and will be provided options such as reassignment, use of leave, or remote work, with mileage reimbursement when applicable. The District and Association will continue to review and adjust the protocol as needed.
Further details of the agreement are provided in the attached document. |
